LITCHFIELD COUNTY, CONNECTICUT

Sein & Skye

A family of projects rooted in community, land, and radical welcome.

"Come as you are. Leave feeling like yourself again."

THE FOUNDER

A purple ribbon or band with a woven or textured pattern.

20 Years of Hospitality. One Expanding Vision.

Sein and Skye is founded by Kelli Rain — a hospitality professional with twenty years of experience in guest services, bar management, cocktail curation, and short-term rental hosting.

The vision was born from a lifelong love of hospitality, a passion for growing things, and a deep belief that the places where people gather are among the most important infrastructure a community can have.

Sein and Skye has grown from a single B&B dream into a family of projects across Litchfield County, Connecticut.

Our Business Plan

A white church with two steeples, standing next to a large leafless tree, with dark shingles on the roof, and snow on the ground.

THE COMMUNITY CENTER

Coffee bar. Library. Co-working. Children’s wing. Recovery. Community. An alcohol-free third space for everyone in a former 1824 church.

“Come in. There’s room for you here.”

Front porch of a white house with columns, an open door, and potted plants, surrounded by greenery.

THE FAMILY SHORT-TERM RENTAL

A 4-bedroom antique rectory next to Glimmer Grove. The children’s wing, playground, and community garden are steps away. Bring the whole family.

ADA accessible · Queer-affirming · Families welcome

A Victorian-style house with intricate white wooden trim and a porch, painted in a reddish-brown color. The front door is white, and there are black shutters on the windows. A bush with large purple and white flowers is in front of the house.

THE BED & BREAKFAST

An 1870 Victorian in the heart of a Kent village. Seven rooms. Beautifully restored. Walkable to galleries, restaurants, and everything Litchfield County is known for.

“Bloom where you are planted.”

Aerial view of a lush green forest with yellow and green trees, fog hovering above the treetops, and rolling hills in the background at sunrise or sunset.

THE COOPERATIVE AGRIVILLAGE

139 acres on Skiff Mountain in Kent. A cooperative food village, native food forest, and regenerative land community. Coming to life.

“Take root. Find your people. Let the land hold you. Come home.”

Colorful bouquet of various flowers including dahlias and roses on a wooden table.

THE SAFE HAVEN & FLOWER FARM

Sliding-scale housing for women, queer people, and families. A flower farm grown with intention. A place that was already thinking of you.
